The Artist
Anya Minko is an Australian/Thai artist and the director of SEVA (Socio-Economic Vision Alliance), a Cambodian NGO focused on education, community empowerment, and rural development. Having lived in Cambodia for over two decades, she draws inspiration from its vibrant cultural landscape, channelling its energy into her bold, dynamic creations. Her work is a celebration of both her multicultural heritage and her love of colour exploration.
For Anya, art is more than an act of self-expression - it is a disciplined practice that demands focus, dedication, and perseverance. Her unique style is defined by layered textures, bold colour palettes, and intricate linework.
Beyond her artistic pursuits, Anya is an adventurous explorer who loves discovering the world—especially on her bicycle. Her passion for movement and exploration mirrors the fluidity and spontaneity of her artistic process.
Whether through art or development work, Anya is committed to projects that engage with her surroundings in a meaningful way. Her journey is a testament to the power of creativity, resilience, and a lifelong pursuit of discovery.
